McDonalds in China
During a recent trip to Shanghai, China, I decided to continue TripHunter traditions and explore ...
Edinburgh is a city built for walking. No trip to Edinburgh would be complete without a walk around Edinburgh Castle or some of the nearby stunning countryside such as climbing up to Arthur's Seat- the tallest of Edinburgh's seven mighty hills. Of course if it's your first trip to Scotland, a taste of the national dish Haggis is well catered for and well recommended followed by a whisky or ale at a traditional Scottish pub. For those feeling a little less adventurous, dine at one of the infamous Michelin-starred restaurants that Edinburgh has to offer in abundance. Edinburgh comes alive at New Years (Hogmany) and during August whilst the famous Fringe Festival takes place. Hotels in Edinburgh can really add to a visitor's experience of this great city. Places such as the Balmoral Hotel offer luxury with tradition. For those on more of a budget, Edinburgh offers the usual budget accomodation hotel chains, therefore providing something suitable for all visitors.
