What's it like?
‘Paris is always a good idea’. A fresh breakfast croissant and an espresso on a side street café: a good idea. Lazing under blue skies in the grand gardens, or meandering through the cobbled streets of art and culture, great ideas. Street markets of olives, cheese, pastries and fruit, dramatic gothic cathedrals, inspiring museums and exquisite style, this city is one beautiful idea. A sum of its parts the city is every bit as romantic, exciting, delicate, elegant and exceptional as the hundreds of poems, songs, novels and paintings depict it and somehow inexplicably more. The immense amount of accommodation ranges from luxurious palaces to family run hostels to suit all budgets. While prices can be lower than London, expect to compensate on size.
